What an amazing start to the second part of the year, Gods grace has been amazing on the streets, some of the lives we see changed are truly remarkable and overwhelming. We've seen 59 people baptised in these months, lives have been changed in an instant and a majority of these were people from the streets, the miracles that have followed blow us away, a 30 year old man who'd had a stroke can look up without falling over, the left side of his body was struck and this has been restored, he also needed glasses and after prayer he doesn't require them anymore!!
It is such a time that we are seeing addictions broken, people just being so filled that the need for drugs or drink is falling away, they wake with such a clarity of what God has for them and a great sense of purpose that the need for the things that blocked the pain of their lives is gone. One man had been a user for many years gets baptised feels different as he comes out of the water never to use again, this is someone who had never experienced God or a church. We see such a raw need with the people that we meet, people are desperate to be set free and God never lets them down!!!!! Some of the miracles we've seen on the streets: a man who broke his back and was in pain for 3 years gets prayed for and pain disappears, other backs healed, a man with cataracts who's eye was completely clouded gets prayer and the eye clears back to being normal, a girls ankle damaged after having a piggy back and the person carrying her falling over onto it gets prayed for outside MacDonald's, the lady praying feels the bones knitting together and she's healed. We see these miracles day after day in the church and on the streets!!!!!!! Thursday nights are picking up a pace as we open the church up for food and fun, seeing miracles occur with lives just being transformed. A couple who are just experiencing the most amazing times of their lives as the struggles they faced in their lives just begin to fall away in God. There is so much more (see the answers page) as we go out with Love, Hope and a heart that God will just impact wherever and whoever we get to touch.
